Finnish born (1980) Visual Artist/Printmaker. Lives and works in Helsinki. Received MFA from Finnish Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki (2011), BA-degree from Middlesex University, London (2005) with a focus of printmaking. Studied also in SVA, NY (2004) and Chelsea College of Art & Design (2002), London.
Works emphasize and contemplate the topics on Western life values and consumer aesthetics. Reflecting cultural identities from current surroundings. Often approaching controversial themes with intention towards researching alternative methods, whilst unearthing prevailing trends.Working practise usually involves mixed media techniques combined with hand-drawn images. Thereafter silkscreen or digital printed.
